London Cupcakes- A hot and sweet London cakes

London Cupcakes have become very hot and sizzling over the last few years. Everyone likes these petit little cakes and Londoners are no exception. The combination of sweet icing and downy sponge in an irresistibly cute package is fast becoming our tea-time treat of choice.

Bea’s of Bloomsbury is one of the hottest bakeries in London. Bea formerly worked as a tartlet chef at Nobu London before striking out on her own in 2008. Given the truth that a second location is scheduled to open in the fall of 2010 it has been a thriving adventure. Diners and London cupcakes lovers certainly agree that this was a very good idea.

You can see American favorites like Red Velvet but this is not just about traditional flavors, there are a variety of equally delicious flavors on offer every day. In the summer season it is strawberry and there is always chocolate. They also propose vegetarian and gluten free cupcakes. Beyond just cupcakes they offer afternoon tea, tasty lunch and cakes and other pastries to tempt your palette.

Peyton and Byrne is a very characteristically British bakery and while you will find all the British specialties that you would expect at all the shops, cafes and restaurants you will also find cupcakes. You can find them at major museums around London and this is the high end of cupcakes in London.
